Let’s focus on sound doctrine that originates from the Bible
There are many different religions, and many different religious books, each proposing a different doctrine on God. We will assume that the Bible is the only book that contains true doctrine on God. Hence we will limit our scope to doctrines that find their origin in the Bible. We will loosely call such doctrines ‘Christian doctrines’.
Different people interpret the Bible differently, and hence there are conflicting doctrines on any aspect of the subject of God, all originating from the same Bible. Since there exist conflicting Christian doctrine, therefore, there is need to have the ability to identify which Christian doctrine is sound doctrine.
The goal of this book is to equip you to identify the sound doctrine from among several conflicting Christian doctrines. In other words, the goal of this book is to teach you the correct way to interpret the Bible.
